At Ravensworth Primary School, we believe that education should inspire, excite, and extend beyond the the walls of the classroom  We are proud to offer a rich and varied enrichment programme that supports the development of the whole child - nurturing curiosity creativity, and confidence.

With London on our doorstep, the city become our extended classroom.  Pupils enjoy immersive learning experiences in one of the world's most dynamic cultural and historical centres, deepening their understanding of the world around them through first-hand exploration.

Our commitment to outdoor learning is reflected in our developing school allotment and outdoor classroom.  These spaces offer pupils the opportunity to connect with nature, develop practical skills, and explore environmental issues in meaningful hands-on ways.

Children are encouraged to discover and develop their passions through a wide range of lunchtime and after-school clubs.  From sports and music to art, coding and chess, our clubs promote creativity, teamwork, and personal growth - building confidence and a sense of belonging outside of traditional lessons.

In Year 5, pupils take part in an unforgettable residential trip to Wick Court Farm, where they experience daily life on a working farm.  This hands-on experience fosters independence, teamwork, and environmental awareness.  Our Year 6 residential is another highlight of school life - an opportunity to create lasting memories, deepen friendships and build resilience as children prepare for their transition to secondary school.

We regularly enrich the curriculum by welcoming inspiring visitors into school.  Acclaimed author MG Leonard, historical educators like Portals to the Past, and other engaging specialist bring learning to life and spark children's imaginations.
